Hello all.

I just got finished building my first machine and in the bios, the motherboard isn’t recognizing my HD in the Boot Priority window. It’s reading the optical drive but not the HD.

Under the SATA information, it’s reading the hard drive correctly in the second port.

Components:

prime z370-a
Intel core i7-8700k
WD Black 1TB HD

Will this solve the issue of not being able to create a RAID configuration? When I go to create one, it’s not allowing me to select either my HD or M.2. Neither are coming up on that screen

Install windows on the M.2 drive if that is where your putting it. Have the 2 WD drives unhooked from the motherboard when doing this. Turn PC off hook up a WD drive go to disc management and format the drive then assign it a drive letter. It should show as usable then.
