Question No HDMI connection when new RAM is installed ?

(Can someone PLEASE let me know if this is a compatibility issue or something els I need to know wether to order new ram) I recently just tried to swap out my old ram for new ripjaw 16gb ddr4-2666 f4-2666c15d-32gbr into my h310cm-hdv and after wards upon turning it on it was getting no hdmi signal. Put my old RAM back in and it worked fine. I only have 2 ram slots and I interchanged them around. Even left the old one in with 1 of the new sticks and that didn’t work either.

After installing the RAM try clearing CMOS, usually a switch or jumper on the motherboard. This will force the BIOS to go through its memory training process.

Will that mess with windows or wipe anything? I bought the pc used and don’t have windows or anything like that to reinstall it.

No, it just resets the BIOS to factory settings. You will need to switch on XMP after doing it so the RAM runs at 2666mhz.
