Incredible. I am on my third ASUS PA249Q monitor, replaced under warranty because suddenly I get a 'No HDMI signal". ASUS support asked me some questions and and issued me an RMA each time. Guess what? I found the simple solution right here on Tom's hardware! Just keep pressing the input button, immediately above the power button, and cycle to DVI. Bam! it works!
This never occurred to ASUS technical support. Unbelievable!

Uh... no, but nice try. There were no connection configuration changes prior to the onset of the problem. In the technical support world you look to identify the root cause. In the case of Asus monitors (PA249Q), the input button is dirrectly above the power button, so the root cause is that the user (me) probably accidentally pushed it and set it in the wrong mode, without realizing it. The real highlight of my post is that Asus support did not know to tell me to cycle through the input settings, and simply replaced the monitor.
