No Icons just curser on black screen. Can start and log in to laptop (ACER)

Can get into f2 and f12.. sometimes when shutting down I see screen saveer for a couple seconds... Bill

Can you boot into safe mode with networking?

When u login u get screen in black but just cursor shows up,

Try to open ur Taskmanager with shortcut key

When ur inside, do and hold SHIFT+CTRL+ESC at same time,

Then in the Task Manager, click File, New Task (Run...).

Then type:

explorer.exe


Then click "OK."
