No image on monitor and red RAM LED on

when i boot fans spin mouse light comes on not keyboard though but no image on monitor and the led near the ram is on i fixed earlier by just taking out 2 sticks of ram but that dosent work anymore also when it did work windows would freeze and i would be forced to restart or it would turn off by itself also leaving the compsite cord unplugged from the computer for 0 minutes would work but no longer please help thanks in advance

Try pressing the MemOK! button on the motherboard, it will automatically clock the RAM to be compatible

i press untill it flashes my computer turns on gpu fans stops and starts a few times but still no image on monitor and ram light still on

Take your memory out and try putting just one stick in at a time. Then remove the stick and put the other one in. Try each stick in each slot. This will help up find out if there's a problem with one of your sticks or one of the slots on the board.

Also, this just came to mind but I should have said it earlier... Even if you have four kits that have identical specs, they may not play well together. I never recommend mixing RAM like that. If you can get any of it to work by itself, then it's a problem with compatibility between brands, at that point I would recommend selling all of it and just getting a 16GB kit by G.Skill Crucial or Kingston.

i dont thinks its to do with mixing ram its been working for months without problems also i tried every stick of ram 1 at a time and still no image also i should tell you that there is no lights on my keyboard but there is on my mouse and my phone charges which i thought was odd

You tried every stick in each slot, with only one stick installed at a time?

Also, Asus boards have a feature where they send power to USB as long as the PSU is supplying power, even if the system is powered off.

Yes I tried each stick in each slot one at a time no image still also yeah I know about that Asus feature but I thought it's weird how my keyboard dosent light up but my mouse does and sometimes I could fix this problem by blast delete to get into the bios and the image would come on but now keyboard dosent light up. Werid

My next suggestion is to unplug the system, press and hold the power button for five seconds to drain any remaining power, and then remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard for thirty seconds. Then go through the process of troubleshooting RAM one more time.

After clearing the cmos the ram light no long comes on with all 4 sticks in but still no image also the led under the power switch is purple instead of blue on my case which is werid
