No image on monitor

Hi, can anybody help me? I am new to pc building so I don't really have all that much experience. I just built a computer and it turns on when I push the power button (it lights up and makes noises , the fans start moving). The only problem is their is no picture on the monitor at all. It's hooked up and plugged in to the on board graphics port. Another thing is it makes beeping noises. I checked the beep codes and it says it's a video problem or something like that ( 1 long beep and 2 short)I plugged in an ati 5450 to see if that would make it work but nothing.

Memory issue: Beep (1 long 2 short)
A Clean the Golden Finger of memory using an eraser
B Clean the memory slots
C Leave only one memory stick to test
D If convenient, please change different memory to test again
