No image when I turn on my computer?

Hey I can not get an image on my desktop when I start up my computer. I have tested my vga cable and it works I have also plugged my monitor in to the laptop Im on now and it works. Its passes post as normal the only thing that is odd is it sounds like the VGA card has its fan stuck on full. Any one have any ideas?

Could be the power supply or motherboard. If you have an oem board by hp, dell, etc, then you may need another of the same brand to use your current windows operating setup. List your system model number for board and power supply recommendations.

My mobo is an ASUS P5K. However I have just ran a check and it turns out that there are no post beeps at all.

Thanks for all the help I have sorted out the problem all it seemed to need in the end was for everything to be re-seated.
