I have a problem, i was just playing some dying light on my week-old pc, i bluescreened with some video error, and after trying to restart it said my windows was corrupted to i had to repair it. After restarting to get into my bios settings, i just didnt get a screen, and my monitor didn't get any input, while it still works with my laptop. Usb ports are still working aswell, my specs are:

Motherboard: Asus prime B2500PLUS
Processor: Intel-i5 7400
Video Card: Asus Phoenix GeForce GTX 1050 2GB
Internal memory: Kingston HyperX Fury black HX424C15FB2/8
Ssd: Samsung 970 Evo 250GB
Monitor: ASUS VE248HR
power supply: Coolermaster masterwatt 550

Sorry this is the first pc i built, what do you mean by that? Plus its not even a week old so how could it be fucked already?

O i didnt include my power supply sorry, it's a Coolermaster masterwatt 550

I think i understand, but i have a dvi cable from my motherboard and my gpu, both dont work, or doesnt that matter? Also how would i install the driver when i cant even see my bootup?

I unplugged my gpu but there's still no input, also i couldnt see any other lights on then usual.

My gpu isnt directly connected to my psu though, should i try resetting cmos without my gpu installed? i have tried resetting cmos with gpu in a couple of times now

Is there any way to know i did the reset? i think i reset it by connecting the 2 pins with a screwdriver, but im not sure. Still no input to screen though

Does the video card REQUIRE a connection to the PSU? I know some 1050's don't, but I can't say for sure all of them don't. I'd verify that, as that could cause no video.

I tried both of those and still didn't get an input to the monitor. What would happen if i would be to touch both sides of the battery? What if i did that accidentally before, would that fuck me over?
