I have came across this issue recently. When I try to install the driver for the network adapter it says "No Intel Adapters are present in this computer". And when I try to locate the Intel Adapter in the device manager I cannot find it. I have tried updating the BIOS to the latest version, also I have reinstalled Windows 10. Still I could not solve this issue. I do not think it is a hardware issue because when I plug in the ethernet cable the orange light starts blinking.

ofc, I'm assuming you're working with a desktop and not a laptop. You might be on the wrong drivers to begin with. On another note, did you recreate your bootable installer using Windows Media Creation Tools to rule out a corrupt installer?

1st - verify, that your system indeed has Intel network adapter. Check hardware specs of your system. You may be trying to install wrong drivers package.
2nd - chipset drivers may need to be installed first, before network adapter can be detected. So - install chipset drivers.

Yeah, I'm working with a dekstop. All the drivers I've installed are from the disk that was included with the motherboard. Also, I've tried to install the latest drivers from Asus and Intel website. In the following order: chipset, USB, audio, LAN.

It has an Intel netowrk adapter, and the disk that was included with the motherboard has an Intel driver. All the drivers I've installed were in the disk, and I have tried installing latest versions, still it didn't work.

I've purchased the motherboard 2 days ago, it could be defective.

in the bios make sure the nextwork adaptor not set to boot from network. reset your bios to factory default see if there a device using the same irq or memory range as the network port. look at the port make sure there no bent pins or the io shield shorting the port out.

The netowrk adapter isn't set to boot from netowrk. I did reset BIOS to the default settings. I don't know how to see if there's a device using the same irq or memory range as the network port, if you could walk me through that step it'd be great. I don't think there are bent pins or the i/o shield (it's pre-mounted) is shorting the port out, if it did the orange light wouldn't light up.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from Bandar_4 : "An issue with the network adapter"

if the issue is that your OS is not detecting the network adapter (not showing up in device manager if your using windows) the first place to check would be your systems BIOS to see if is enabled. if not, then it may be defective

It is enabled. I'm pretty sure if the mobo is defective, the orange light wouldn't blink constantly.

did you try downloading and installing the latest drivers for you motherboard from the asus website? in this case especially the latest chipset drivers?

I did install the latest driver for the chipset as well as the LAN.
