No internet access in windows 7

Hello,

I have just bought a new laptop with windows 7 on. The wireless is connecting to the router, but is saying the router is not connected to the internet. However my old laptop with vista is connected to the internet with no problems. How can I connect the new laptop?

IS THERE A WEP OR WPA KEY!

99 times out of 100 this problem is caused by the incorrect WPA OR WEP key (or no key) being used. Have you tried running the Repair option? (Right click the internet connected icon and select repair) if it fails at acquiring IP address then it is because of an incorrect key.
