No Internet at all

How do I restore my wireless signal. It keeps putting me into security screen saying it needs to be turned on. When I press it it won't let me. Can anyone help a poor old dinosaur.?

From one old dinosaur to another, we need to know what sort of wireless adapter are you using. What is the security screen you're seeing? The title should be at the top of the form. Can you get to the Internet if you cable to your router?
