Question No internet connection after a couple minutes of power up

This is really strange. I have a PC with an ethernet connection. Every time I power it up it has no internet connection. I receive the error : cable not plugged in. So what I try to do is unplug the cable then plug it in and the problem is fixed, but it still happens when I restart/power off my computer. It just loses connection to the internet. I thought that this could be a cable problem, so I tried using the internet via a WiFi adapter. The same exact thing occurs even on WiFi. Does anyone have any idea of what this could be related to? This is not possible,WIFI doesn't have any "cable." Did you disable ethernet while running on WIFI? you should.
