No Internet connection on new Windows 10 build.

I've just built my first PC everything works perfectly except the Internet. I installed the Intel driver that came on the motherboard installation disc. Yet when I plug the Ethernet cable in it just comes up with unidentified network. I've updated my BIOS, reinstalled the driver, and used the driver directly from Intel with the same problem, I've found no other options and am really stuck and frustrated.

Asus Z170-AR
MSI GeoForce GTX 970
Windows 10 Home edition

Open device manager and check if you have the drivers installed as this is the normal cause of what you are experiencing.
