Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming7 motherboard. Win 10 64bit.

Uninstalled the awful Killer E2200 Software which also uninstalled the driver. Attempted to reinstall driver using device manager so I don't have the horrible software that keeps limiting my connection every 5 minutes. Newest driver from gigabytes website used. Network adaptor IS enabled in bios...

Device manager says the driver is installed correctly. The network cable works fine (tested on other PC), and the network adapter shows up in the adapters screen.

Using ipconfig /all only the bluetooth PAN network deice shows up. The ethernet adapter does not. I tried plugging in a known good wifi card. Showed up fine in network adaptors (plug n play), does not show up in ipconfig and no internet connectivity even when connected to the network. I then uninstalled the driver again and installed the entire software suite again to no avail. Same problem. I also tried plugging in a PCIe broadcom network adaptor. Shows up fine like the wifi card, says connected, does not show up in ipconfig.

I'm starting to pull my hair out. No AV installed. This only happened after uninstalling the driver. I would rather not reimage if I don't have to. Any ideas appreciated.

EDIT: Tried windows system restore. Won't even boot now. Junk windows. Hate Microsoft with a passion.

Solution
clean CMOS, uninstall the driver, or just reinstall the new driver as well.
and check if the motherboard i/o network slot is flashing,
it should be just the install issue,
but you dont have to uninstall the killer software, just turn it off, it will be fine.....
