Recently every time I startup my PC, or a family member switches to their user it is showing no connection to the internet. My router/modem project's wifi just fine and I tried resetting it/unplugging the ethernet cable from both ends. I for some reason ran Windows Troubleshooter and for the first time in my life it fixed the issue by resetting the network adapter. It is annoying to have to do every day and I am just wondering what could be the cause of this and if this is an indicator of something about to die. Motherboard is a MSI B450 Tomahawk, Modem/Router is a TP-LINK Archer CR700.

Solution
Does the ethernet port say disconnected

This sounds like one of microsoft power save features. I would look in the windows power save junk to see if there is anything about a ethernet port. I would also check the bios to see if there are any setting related to power save or green. If it has it try to turn on wake on lan that generally leaves the port on unless you do a real shutdown.
So it does this if you just log off one user and log another on without the machine going into sleep or shutdown ?

If you use the IPCONFIG /all command

Does the port show disconneted or just is show connected but has some IP address like 169.x.x.x. You can also try IPCONFIG /release and then IPCONFIG /renew

Sorry, I lose connection every time my PC goes into sleep mode or shutdown, not switch user. It just happened to be sleeping at the time. Ipconfig/all actually showed no IP address at all. Straight up, IPv4 and IPv6 was missing and Default Gateway was blank. Release/renew did not help.
