Got a free windows 7 craptop a while ago, but it died, so I tore it up for parts. (Got a decent monitor).
Anyway, I took the disk and stuck it into my current desktop.
Windows 7 booted fine, however there was no user input. I tried safemode, but nothing worked.
I am getting input in BIOS, so it is working fine, it is a windows issue.
Any input would be helpful.
Thanks.

Well... I CAN expect it to work. :) Won't help my case though.

Got it to work easily twice before with windows 7, and an 8/xp dual boot.
Guess I was just lucky. Both were originally desktops though.
I would attempt a clean install.
The only issue is, I don't have any windows keys etc.
The laptop windows sticker was too damaged to read.
My only option is to attempt to fix what I got.
