[SOLVED] No light on back of motherboard and no network controller, ethernet doesn't work whatsoever, but wifi stick does.

I recently built a new pc and as soon as I tried connecting it to ethernet after windows installed, it wouldn't even appear in my connections. My wifi stick is working without issue, but like I said the light on the motherboard isn't on, I can't install network drivers as there is no network controller. The motherboard is a gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro, wifi is Eero Pro 3. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!

Start by checking that the NIC is enabled in BIOS. If it is and still doesn't appear then you most likely have a failed motherboard.

And if those don't work before you give up, boot up a linux live cd/usb and see if it happens to work. If not, doa motherboard.
