I just built my first home built gaming PC today for the first time. I was able to get the power on and everything running properly the first time. I plugged it into my monitor and entered the BIOS screen. I then shut it off and moved a single cord and then tried again.

My computer turns back on just fine but I can not get any display to show on my monitor. I've tried unplugging and plugging everything back in, tried moving that one cord back but nothing. Any help on the subject would be great.

I know that all my cords and monitors work because it worked for me the first time and they work with my laptop

Ok, so I had both the gpu and the onboard chip set plugged in. I just unplugged the gpu and the graphics have now appeared again. Can I only have one plugged in at a time? and if so which one would be better to use? And thank you very much
