Hey i wanted to ask you what you guys think.

I was trying to lower my voltage on a 8700k at 4.7ghz. i currently run it stable at 1.250V and was hoping to lower it down a notch.
i tried 1.240V but froze in cinebench... would you consider it to be a lower end chip? I see quite a bit of people running 4.7ghz at way lower voltage so well...
thanks for your replies!

sorry i don't know how but i posted in the wrong sections and can't seem to find a way to delete or relocate it. Modos please feel free to move it or delete it so i can place it in the right section. Just let me know

Damn...i was considering delidding it (through silicon lottery i don't have the experience to do it myself) but i am asking myself if instead of paying 60$ for that, if I should not just take a dip buy one of their 4.9ghz certified and already delidded....the system is about to run on air (noctua nh-d15s) so i would like to be able to dial back on the voltage as much as possible. Granted the delidding will help reduce heat but...
