ETA: Found out it was an outdated version of my Logitech software for my mouse, I assume a macro glitch. Uninstalling and then reinstalling the new version of Logitech Gaming Software fixed it!

Windows 10. It doesnt matter which keyboard I use, which brand, new or used. I just updated Windows to see if it'd fix it to no avail. It started happening with my Logitech G512 randomly upon restarting last night, then I tried a cheap Amazon basics one and it did the same thing with the same keys.

I went out and bought a Razer Black Widow (brand new) and it's doing the same thing, even after installing drivers and restarting repeatedly. I also unplugged my keyboard, uninstalled all keyboard drivers, restarted, and plugged it back in.. no change. The keyboard troubleshooter also came back with no issues.

Either every text box types C forever or it acts as if the CTRL button is pressed so if i type R it refreshes, W it closes, etc. Sometimes, rarely and randomly, it stops and I can type as normal for a while. Then, it inevitably reverts to the cycle..

I've tried each of the 4 usb ports in the front of my case and each of the 7 in the back. Sticky Keys is not on, all my temps and usages are normal. Please help and ty so much in advance 🙁

You can try going to Device Manager in windows (since typing is acting up, just right click the windows icon in the bottom left and click ''Device manager'' in the drop-down menu), under the ''Keyboards'' section right click and uninstall all keyboard devices, then unplug and plug your keyboard in.
