NO Memory Detected

I finished my new build and have a problem. When I try to boot it my Motherboard gives me an error code of 53 which is "Memory initialization error. No usable memory detected." SO I don't know if this means my RAM is bad or my Motherboard. I'm using 8 gb of Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3. I've tried booting it up with and without the RAM in place and both times I get the same error.

try one stick of ram not two..could be that the mb bios need an update to run that brand of ram. if you have another ddr3 stick around the house try it. if still has error 53. take the cpu cooler off and look for bent pins under the cpu. intel cpus the memory controller is built into the cpu.
