I bought my pc from cyberpower a few months ago. When i first bought it, it wouldnt get any signal to my monitor. I sent i back, they fixed it and said the processor wasnt seated properly and sent it back. After that it worked just fine. Until a few weeks ago. I noticed when the computer would go to sleep, i couldn't always get it to wake back up. The power light would come on on the tower, but it only would sound like the fans were running and thats it. No flashing lights indicating activity or anything. Noone was able to help me fix that, so i set it to only put the monitor to sleep and thats it, and that worked okay. Until today. My computer was shut down, i turned it on. The power light came on and the fans came on, but never brought a signal to my monitor. No lights flashing indicating activity or anything. So i tried using my HDMI to a tv just to see if it was the monitor, and it wasn't getting signal either (I usually have it hooked up to monitor with DVI). So now i can't even get a signal from my monitor, again. This is ridiculous. This computer isn't but a couple months old and the only things i have downloaded to it are steam and origin really. Can anyone please help me, i'm getting so angry that i spent all this money on a new computer only to have it not work TWICE now in a couple months. Specs are:

In that case it might be worth returning it again to the manufacturer and cite the same issue. The problem will be one of these things:
1) The video card isn't connected properly or had come loose since the last time you got it fixed
2) The hard drive is faulty which could explain why you only got this issue when trying to start it from it being shut down
3) The power supply is faulty - I'm banking on this one since yours is only bronze rated and odd issues with hard to pinpoint causes often mean the power supply is acting up. I've had issues in the past with weird problems that I cant fix somehow being caused by a power supply on its last legs.

When you return it, make sure you cite these issues as a possible cause because it might prompt the technicians to do a full inspection instead of one of the quick fixes they tend to do - I literally never trust a repair person to do a proper job if I know nothing about the subject, I get paranoid that they are taking advantage of a newbie.

Hopefully this works out for you!

Thanks for the replies. I switched over to my old tower that i use for surfing the web and my wifes schooling and stuff to post on forums to find out what was wrong. Just a few minutes ago, i hooked the DVI back up to my gaming computer (One im having issues with) and booted it up just fine. I have no idea what could be causing that. It started just fine this time and everything. I got to looking around in the BIOS (by hitting DEL on bootup) and noticed under OS Type mine says "Windows 8" even though i'm running windows 10. I clicked the drop down arrow and only other option it gave me was "Other OS", is this normal or is this an issue? Anyways, how hard is it to replace a psu and is there a way i can test it without physically removing it? Thanks so much for your help, this whole issue frustrates me to no end.

It might pay to update your BIOS if Cyberpower didn't do it for you, but wouldn't have thought this to cause an issue. Start a list of possible issues, include this one as well 😀

Replacing a PSU isn't any more difficult than any other piece of hardware but if you have no experience or don't feel confident following a YouTube video I wouldn't recommend it. Unfortunately without removing the PSU there is no way of testing it on another machine.

Did they say the machine was a brand new build from scratch? Because if it wasn't, theres a possible issue with replacing all the hardware on a motherboard without doing a fresh install of Windows

It was brand new built from scratch. I picked out the hardware I wanted (and could afford) and they put it together and shipped it to me. The Bios edition was FC I believe. And I watched a YouTube video and it seemed fairly simple, but my case has a whole cover over the psu that runs from the back all the way to the front, so I'd have to take that off. Not sure how easy that would be. Hooking up all the cables in the right spot would probably be the hardest part for me.

Find out where the cables lead to and take a photo of where they all end up. If there's a good YouTube video give it a go if you feel up to it. Same with the bios update, find your motherboards manufacturer website and find the most recent bios to download. GIGABYTE has a neat little tool called @BIOS which makes it real easy to do, so give that a go
