So for some reasons my dog cut(ate) the internet cable, I've been changing the head with a new one, placing the colored cables exactly in the same place as before, now, my the router/moder hybrid sees the cable (so there's some electricity or something coming outta it) but no internet connection comes out. Plugging it into my Laptop, happens the same, sees the cable but no internet connection. Maybe the cable got some problems on it's way to the router/modem hybrid?

Solution
Its not as easy as it looks to put those ends on. If all the wires are not fully inserted or if the pins do not cut the insulation correctly and make full contact you get cable that only sorta of work.

It takes a lot of practice to get the wires nice and lined up and fully inserted and crimped. All you can do is keep trying until you get it correct. Even professionals make bad ones now and then which is why they have expensive testing meters so they don't have to come back out and fix it later.
