No more WIN95/NT support?

Hi all,

I hear a rumour that Microsoft will no longer be supporting Win95/NT? Is this true? Does anyone have a link to some supporting documentation on this matter?

Microsoft will always support Windows 95 thru NT, either over the phone or on the web. Where did you get such a rumor?

yep supposedly they will stop supporting those os when they come out with the xp
just do a search for xp and you find alot more stuff out about it

Microsoft is going to discontinue support for Windows 95 and NT by the end of the year. Why? They want people to upgrade to Windows 2000 and/or XP.

Microsoft has also decided to add their new controversal "subscription software" to their XP line of products. Which means you will buy XP in the store and every year you need to pay Microsoft more money or it will stop working.
