Hi, this is my first time posting here as i'm desperate to find answer.

So this is the problem i'm facing.
Short description - In an office environment, we have our own domain.
Connected a PC to one particular Lanpoint name A connected to switch and IP Phone to Lanpoint name B which connected to PoE switch.
PC and IP Phone have different IP address PC is 192.1xx.xxx.xxx and IP Phone is 10.1xx.xxx.xxx

My problem is i have "ip configuration not valid" error on the PC.
Here is what i did.
-Try to swab A and B on the desk faceplate and also swap the cable in the server between switches with the same result.
-Did all i can find in the forum regarding "ip configuration not valid" error i can find, with no solution. (renew ip config, flush dns, static IP, netsh winsock reset etc)
-Purchase a new network adapter because i thought that the in build adapter is not working. Same problem.
-Connect the problem desktop to another lanpoint faceplate and it's working fine. (I didn't think of this before purchasing a network adapter. Money wasted :/)
-Connect another working desktop to the problem lanpoint and it can't detect any network.
-Change LAN cable for the PC

So i would like to know what is the problem i'm facing. IP Phone is working well but there's no network detected using PC. Is it the wiring or is there smtg i missed out?

Solution
do you have some kind of ACL (access control list) feature enabled on your router?
check if you need to add the MAC address of your PC to the network in order to get a connection.

I already manually input the DNS server same as all other PC in the domain. When i try to set static IP.

The PC and IP phone are connect to a Faceplate(With 2 lanpoint) and the PC to a Swtich and the IP Phone to PoE Switch.
They are unmanaged swtiches.
We have another Router at the server rack. So non of the device acting as router?

Honorable
then you need to change settings at your router side or asign your PC a similar IP as your IP-Phone. 10.XXXX IP is working fine and 192.16XXX is not, this means the router is providing service in the 10.XXX range and not the 192.16XXX one.

Router <Switch 1 > PC
<Switch 2 PoE> IP Phone

how many devices do you have in your network since you are using 2 switches? are there any other PCs and do they work fine?

We have around 30 PCs and and IP Phones.
So i think changing the settings on the router won'tl work. As the IP Phones switch goes to another server which is few levels down the building. (Another Company who manage it)

We have 3 switches and 2 server. Tried to connect the PC to different switches but it's not working. Strangely IP phones is working if i swab the Lan cable between the PC and IP Phone at the patch panel.
