hi there as the title said i am really tensed right now because of this issue! what really happened is this that, i had my older Motherboard which is GA-H81M-S2PV ! no that had all the setting like voltage control and all for my current cpu which is i5-4440! so i reduced the voltage in my older motherboard to lower the temps mainly and now i have colling system so i want to increase it but the problem is the new mobo that i installed which is Asus H81M-K does not have any kind of voltage coltrol feature in the bios! i updated the bios too, i really researched this but have no solution yet! Now my voltage for Vcore is insanly low which is aroung 0.959V which is like the lowest that GA-H81M-S2PV could go and i did that at that moment of time!

Now i need help changing the vcore for my cpu to normal voltage! i removed the new mobo battery too and tried to reset it, it didnot work! Please help me anyone

It is quite normal for CPU Vcore voltages to drop down below 1.000V when the CPU is idle. For Intel CPU's the voltage is controlled by SpeedStep, for AMD it's Cool 'n Quiet. When the CPU is pushed harder, Vcore will increase to somewhere between1.2 and 1.4V typically, then drop back to 0.9V when idling. If your system is stable, stop worrying.

Some people like to undervolt their CPUs to save power, but this option might not be present in all motherboard BIOS menus. If you have an inexpensive motherboard, the more sophisticated options will be missing.

One of the best way to reduce your CPU temps is to fit a bigger cooler. If you only have a stock Intel cooler, consider replacing it with something much bigger. Many people trying to get the best out of their CPUs abandon the stock cooler and spend $40 to $250 on an beefier solution.
