1. I'm trying to format my new SSD but I have no option to do so in windows 10. When I right click on the drive there is simply no option to do so?

2. I'm trying clone my current HDD to my new SSD. Does it matter that my SSD is in MBR format and my HDD is in GPT? Do they both have to be in the same format to clone correctly?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Understand that there is NO requirement that you initialize/partition/format your "virgin" SSD prior to it becoming the destination drive in a disk-cloning operation.

You can simply go ahead and clone the contents of your HDD to the SSD. The resultant SSD clone will bear the GPT-partitioning scheme.
