Question No PCIe cable for my new RTX 2060

So I just went to fit my new 2060 card and it has an 8 pin PCIe connector and my EVGA power supply has an 8 pin connector labelled VGA 1...

I have unfortunately had the left over cables from when I bought the PSU thrown away without my knowledge so I have no way of using the card. I now need a replacement cable that will work for me but wherever I look I am struggling to find anything that is male to male.... Or am I doing it wrong? Help please!

I would contact EVGA Customer support and see if they will sell you new cables. They are often different to each manufacturer.

edit: Whats wrong with using the 8pin cable labeled VGA1? Thats for pci-e.

Apologies, I don't have an extra cable at all, was just listing what the connections are, could only see full sets of cables for sale with evga so I guess I will have to be patient

If you contact their support directly they may sell you the cable as a spare part as you have lost it. I have done that in the past with other manufacturers.

You might also try cablemod, ensourced or a number of other custom cable sleeving places as they may have a cable for your power supply. Just make sure to get a full replacement and not an extension.
