[SOLVED] No post after new cpu installation

I just upgraded my Ryzen 5 2500x to a Ryzen 7 3700x but when I power on my pc my monitor turns on shows black and turns back off here are my other specs:
ASUS ROG B450f
GSkill Trident 16GB ddr4 Ram
ASUS ROG strix 2070 Super
Cooler master ML240r
550W EVGA PSU
Samsung 500 gb Ssd
Seagate 1tb hdd

That's what I thought at first too. But his current Ryzen 5 2500X already requires a later BIOS than the Ryzen 7 3700X.

Is the CPU still on after that? Try and reseat the GPU and try a different cable. Maybe try and reseat the RAM too. If nothing works we can troubleshoot further.

Have you tried resetting the cmos? You can do this by removing the battery on the motherboard for 5-15 mins depending on board
