I need clarification. If my HDD has gone out. Recent weeks I have gotten the can't connect to hdd error when turning on computer. I've been getting past it by unplugging hdd connections and redoing it. Fixes it for awhile. Last night I restarted my computer and well....didn't restart. Figured I'd just hard boot it and well. Fans Running high cpu gpu and case all running. Red light on front. Probably bad but no gpu signal no post comes up...what's going on. It's about a 4 year old computer. One of the HPENVYS don't really have a budget to just bust out another 700 for a tower though. And I game so I can't really cheap out like I'd like too.

First tell me, any beeping noise when it starts up? If so, describe them or link to a video. If not, are there any codes in the corners of the monitor?

What are your system specs? When my computer did this, it was the power supply.
