Question No post and 3 beeps

I have a new problem. I have a Dell Inspiron 3421 and it's nearly 7 years old. Before, at startup it would beep 4 long beeps and I have to restart it to enter os but now when i turn it on no beeps just full black screen and there is no led except for power. My uncle removed the ram to check the ram. Im planning to buy new RAM for this but I need answers to save some money.. (edit) The cd rom works and fan spins.
SPECS:
2nd gen intel core i3
1 TB hard drive
4 GB Ram (single stick)

Try taking your RAM module out and cleaning the RAM slots aswell as the golden contacts on the module with isopropyl alcohol.

I was wrong... ram is working but soldered cpu in mobo is dead
