No Post, CPU LED is on.

I just built a PC:
Motherboard- Gigabyte b350-gaming 3
CPU- AMD Ryzen 5 1600
GPU- MSI geforce mtx 1060

I finished building the PC, but my motherboard's CPU LED is on, indicating a problem with the CPU I assume. The PC will turn on and all the fans and such will come on, but my monitor will not get a signal from my gpu, or on board when i take the gpu out. I have cleared the cmos, to change the ram to different slots and only use one of them. I have also checked all connections. The only thing I can think of is a faulty mobo or a problem with my cpu. I pulled the cpu and checked pins. Maybe it got hit with static electricity but I touched a grounded surface before handling any components. I just need help.

Have you connected the 8 pin CPU power cable to the motherboard?

Yes. all cables and wires are connected properly.

Unless it is a faulty 8-pin, but I figured that you usually don't find faulty cables from the factory.

Then I suggest RMA-ing both board and CPU.
