Hello
i have recently purchased a intel dq67ow motherboard to accompany my i5 3570k however upon delivery i plugged everything in all the fans boot up the green light on the motherboard lights up telling me the board is recieving power however the system is not posting to my monitor any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this issue before i return the motherboard
i have tried reseating gpu multiple times same with ram

specs : i5 3570k
intel dq67ow
8gb mix and match ram
650w antec psu

ram and gpu have been tested on another working system

The problem is from the BIOS, because your cpu is the 3rd gen Ivy Bridge, the Q67 MB will need newer BIOS to support the Ivy Bridge cpu, if the both cpu and MB work.
You have two options;
1) Ask your friend or local pc shop for help. Using the 2nd gen Sandy Bridge CPU to update the BIOS first, then switch to the i5 3570K.
2) Return the Q67 chipset MB ( dq67ow) , buy the H77/Z77 motherboard for your i5 3570K.

would something like this work im literally trying to keep it on a budget as i spent most of my money on previous parts and i did not expect this problem i use a computer every day and research parts and stuff before i buy them however i've never seen a problem like this i tried all the common troubleshooting techniques eg reseating gpu ram and cpu changing the cmos battery etc however none of them worked os i automatically assumed the mobo was faulty thanks for the help i will see if it fixes it

Hey so the celeron chip has arrived however when i turn on the motherboard nothing posts i've tried using one stick of ram however nothing happened also the motherboard turns on for like 20 seconds peripherals light up and everything however it then just turns back off

Try clear the CMOS by the jumper or removing the CMOS battery first. And try boot the PC again.

If you still have problem, try to disconnect all your HDD ( storage drive) and all the RAM too, clear the CMOS, and boot the PC without the HDD and RAM. You will 1) the PC boot, but you will get no RAM and boot device error. And add the hdd ( OS ), and the RAM one by one back. 2) The PC does the same, that means either the MB or G530 has problem.

I am running it with 2 sticks or ram right now the other 2 can disconnected I don't have access to any other ram as when I built this pc I was on a tight budget and had to get by with what I could afford however the ram is a mix n match ddr3 set the 2 ram sticks I'm using right now seem to be perfectly fine
