Question No post no beeps no output

I have just upgraded my build that was previously working with a new mobo, CPU and RAM.

When it was all in place, I turned it on and no boot, no POST, no periferals behaved like usual, and I had no speaker for the mobo. I have tried without the GPU, without ram and without hard drive but no change.

Today I got one of those little cylindrical speakers and the situation is the same, removing all but the CPU still results in no beeps.


My GPU was working the day before the install, so did my PSU and hard drive.

What are the complete specs of the computer before and after the upgrade? There is a sticky at the top of the forum for troubleshooting this type of problem. If you perform all the steps in the checklist it should help you narrow down what is causing the problem. There is also a link to the checklist in my signature.
