Wifes comp died thought the power supply died. She bought a new one and that didnt work. So went out and got a new motherboard and get it together and i get no video on either onboard or graphics card. i have tried resetting the cpu and memory checked all the wires were connected corestly even used the power supply from my comp. The only thing i get is the fans will spin if i have the onboard video connected but they only briefly spin if the card is in. i have seen the post on things to check and everything that would pertain at the moment i have checked. I am at a loss as to what to do. Im thinking maybe the board is defective. But does anyone have any other ideas.I will call the place where it was bought from tomorrow and see what they say. and if i can may bring it in for them to check..
new motherboard is a gigabyte F2A68HM-HD2
can't recal the exact cpu but i know it was an A series running at 2.5 ghz.(have had it about 2 years roughly)
memory is an off brand 4ghz. but have rulled that to be bad after trying in a different comp
power supply is Imicro 500 watt and have also tried a thermal take 600 watt
also in process of testing memory i tried memory that is good but still had no success
