No Post or display

I built my first computer and after I connected everything and powered it up. The fans were spinning and everything was going "well" but my monitor says no signal. Please Help!

Parts:
CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860k
GPU: XFX Radeon R9 270x
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8gb (2x4gb)
Motherboard: MSI A88xm-e35
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 Tb
PSU: EVGA 500w 80 plus
Case: NZXT Source 210

All the Parts also seem to be compatible so I don't know what's wrong.
Also the 24pin power connector doesnt seem to go all the way in.

Did you plug your HDMI into the Graphic card or the Motherboard?

I plugged it into the graphics card

Have you tried any other connectors like DVI. Here's a little checklist you can go through to keep you busy.
