[SOLVED] NO Post PC unless PSU switched off and on.

Hi,

My local computer technician couldn’t find the solution. He did suggest it could be the motherboard…

Summary:
Pc boots normal. Then after 30 - 120 minutes I will get the first symptoms:

• Repeated asking what audio device I plugged in.
• Hw Monitor crashes on start
• Ryzen Master crashes on start
• Chrome does not open

Go to shutdown or restart in Windows and screen turns black while fans and Qleds remain on.
I have to manually shutdown holding power button.
Powering on pc gives no beep codes and No Post.

I have to switch off PSU and wait for at least 1 minute before turning back on. Then it will boot into windows, but only to have the cycle repeat.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 UD
PSU: Cooler Master MWE 80Plus 650W
SSD: Samsung 980 500gb m.2
RAM: Kingston Fury beast DDR4 3200mhz 16GB
CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 MSI Mech 2x

From first glance an under powered PSU. CM is a good brand but that is an APU wattage. I would get an 850W PSU for that setup, minimum.

Interesting.. even if I have never had issues on full load?

There's no telling when it fails. What is the point of putting together a powerful PC like that and strangling it with a low Watt PSU ? For what $50 difference if even ?

Issue was the CPU.
Tried CPU in 3 different motherboards and 2 entirely different PC systems, and the problem would follow the CPU.
Replaced my main PC with a new Ryzen and now the problem is no longer present.
