Question No Post Screen

so i built a pc for a client today and everything is plugged in properly i made sure of it
but no post/bios screen

i tried another cpu-nothing

switched the ram sticks and tried them solo-nothing

tried a new hdd-nothing

everything powers on like leds fans etc cpu fan

tried refreshing bios/cmos battery with the jumper and the battery

nothin

no beep sequence to show an issue or problem just no monitor display

so either 1.) Motherboard is faulty

2.) psu is faulting somewhere
wondering if youve ever had this issue or know what to do. '



specs are as follows

i3 8100
8gb ram ddr4-2133 mHz
stock intel cooler
1tb hdd
asus dvd r/w
asrock b360 pro4 motherboard
for lga1151 coffee lake

May be just a communication problem between monitor and the computer. Which port do you plug your monitor into? This board has HDMI, DVI and D-sub ports, can you try to use another port to see if you get a signal?

I tried using hdmi, dvi, and d sub but no cigar, tried on 2nd monitor and 3rd but nothing

Then I agree with you, considering that you changed pretty much everything else, this sounds like a faulty Mobo. I don't think the PSU is the culprit here.

figured out it was a faulty mobo, getting a replacement this friday. Will update if the issue gets fixed

I got it checked out and I checked the cpu myself and no issues, it was the mobo. Im getting a new one this friday will update

Got the New Motherboard today, plugged everything In and also before plugging everything in did minimum hardware and no boot/bios. Im at my wits end. Anyone got any idea
