No posts from motherboard

I possess a motherboard (an ASUS H81M-PLUS) that won't show any signs of life. No post codes, no display, nothing. The fans are spinning, the other components are good as I have tested them before the issue began to occur. I ran the motherboard breadboard style with only the power supply, RAM, motherboard and processor which yielded nothing. I suspect that the BIOS is not updated to support the Pentium G3258 I have installed and I was wondering, is there any way to update the BIOS? Thank you for your time.

My BIOS seems to be quite a ways off from the required BIOS.

An option would be ordering a BIOS chip on ebay and replacing the board's one.
