No power light

Hi I used my pc yesterday morning as usual then went to use it again in the evening when it failed to start or even light up.i switched power leads, tried it into another socket nothing. I then removes the side panel and noticed I didn't even have a light on the motherboard. I then got another pc out which I have of similar spec and tried that although it has been in storage for a while also failed to start although It did have a light on the motherboard. I then swapped the batteries over but still my pc failed to start and still has no light on the motherboard. I plan to buy a new battery today to try but do you have any other suggestions ? Seems very strange as everything was working as it should. Motherboards are Asus z97 -p z97-k. Thanks

Basically you have no lights at all?
I would be looking at the power supply/outlet/power cable.
If the outlet and cable are good, I would swap another supply in.

All sorted after testing psu power was getting to mobo, traced it done to power switch, now sorted thxs
