What shall i do when i ran out of power from plugging in a plug that has a 12v Output on a 3TB Toshiba External Hard Drive that i have? It doesn't work for when i plug in the plug and USB cables and it has an overload message for when i plug the cables on my TV and blu-ray player. No blue light and everything.

Yes i have and i tried another one just to be sure. A lower Output one as well 4.2V.
if you have no warranty on the item you could open it up, its just a HDD in a shell at the end of the day you can buy a replacement shell if thats gone faulty for some reason, but yeah connect it to your pc via SATA as you would for any other secondary and see if it spins up then. if it works in a pc you know theres something wrong with that housing

good luck, if you was to send it back they likely wont care about data they'll send you a new drive, so if that data is more valuable than the warranty its for sure ya best bet.
