PC won't turn on.

I recently upgraded my rig here are the specs:
CPU: amd a8 -> ryzen 5 1600
Motherboard: gigabyte f2a58m-ds2 -> msi b350 bazooka
Ram: ddr3 hyperx fury 1866 -> ddr4 hyperx fury 2400
Psu: thermaltake 620w se smart -> seasonic 520w
Case: orion atx case -> phanteks p300

So here's what happend. Last night i replaced some of my components with new ones as stated above. It turned on and i even played for a few hours. I downloaded a dlc for Rainbowsix siege. It was 27gb so i left it overnight to download. No other app was running except steam. Then on the next day i checked on the pc hoping that the download was finished. To my disappointment it was off and won't turn on.

I tried to check if there was a burning smell but there wasn't. Checked the mobo for swelled up fuses but there wasn't any. Also i tried to check the psu for anything out of place but there wasn't. I tried shorting the power pins to check if it's the casing. There was absolutely no power getting through the pc. I guessed it was the psu so i replaced it with a new one, seasonic 520w. I plugged everything and tried to power it on but still no power. Help!

Solution
Finally my PC has been resurrected from the depths of hell.

The cpu was the culprit. I don't know how this may have happened (maybe you guys could shed a light on this matter) but the cpu was the cause. It was defective or broken during that event (stated above). Maybe there was a power surge that fried my cpu, i don't know. But once they tested each of the parts, the cpu was the one that was not functioning. So they replaced it, lo and behold it booted. Good thing it was still within the replacement period.

Long story short, CPU was the broken one.
I bought a surge protected extension cord and grounded my outlet. To prevent further mishaps.

Kudos to alexoiu for the help.
Appreciated it. Godbless my good man.
Good news. I went to my retailer and have the mobo checked. To my surprise it works. It powered on. When i came back home. I tried to short circuit the pins like the repairman did but nothing happened. What am i doing wrong?

Also did that. Only plugged the cpu and cooler. Plugged both 8 and 24pins. Tried to jump start it. Still nothing. Alexoiu really, thanks man. I'll be bringing my pc to my reseller to try and test everything out. I'm losing faith in myself lol. I'll update once i got it diagnosed. Again appreciate all the help and patience man.
