No Power to New Build

I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this.

So I just finished putting together my build last night, connected everything, hit the power button... and nothing. Nothing at all whatsoever.

Now I'm fretting about what I could've done wrong with the build anyone have any advice?

Have you checked if the Power Switch (PWR SW) front panel cable as well as the rest of the front panel cables from your case is connected in the appropriate pins of your motherboard? (Actual pin-out depends on specific motherboard that you have)

Make sure that the front panel connectors( from the case ) are connected correctly to the motherboard and make sure that the +ve and -ve aren't misplaced, you might have connected your power switch wrong. Refer to your motherboard's manual.

Try the paper clip/screwdriver tests:

To verify if the PSU is okay or not, try to power the motherboard using the paper clip test outlined here: http://forums.hexus.net/pc-hardware-components/259421-new-build-no-power-please-help.html
