I just installed the captain 120 ex cpu cooler in my pc and when I went to power it on there was nothing. Nothing from the power supply, no lights, no fans, nada! I checked to see if the power connector from the PS was still connected into the MB and made sure the switch on the PS was on and all seemed good.
My board is MSI x99a raider and cpu is intel 6850k in a lga 2011 v3 socket.
This really has me stumped. If I damaged the board or cpu somehow wouldn't I still get some signs of life somewhere? I also checked the power button and it is connected. please help. thank you.
