No RCA audio output on Yamaha RX-V671

Hi - I can't get any audio output from "Audio Out" RCA. I also tried the audio plugs on the "3-RCA 'AV Out'". I have 3 HDMI inputs (Cable, Apple TV, and DVD), TV video from HDMI output, and R/L front speakers using red/black wire terminals. Any help is appreciated!!!

Many receiver will not convert digital audio to analog for outputs. If you can get output from the radio or add an analog out from the cable box (assign it to a different input than the HDMI input you are already using) then you will know if this is the case.

Thanks for the reply. I have confirmed that you are correct, my amp does not provide analog output from HDMI input. As a work-around to this problem, I can set the HDMI out (on the receiver/amp) to also send audio to the TV and should be able to run an RCA cable from TV audio out to the new component.
