[SOLVED] No render time difference in after effect after installing SSD

i recently bought a WD SSd Green for my pc (WDS240G1G0A) and set it up as my G drive with my OS and AE on C drive of WDC wd10ezex 60m2na0 1TB HDD
my aim was to achieve higher rendering time so i tried rendering a compilation of 3 small 1080p file with minor contrast and saturation tweaks.The rendering time came out was 4.23 sec while my AE disk cache remained on C drive. But when i changed my disk cache to G drive (SSD) by render time came with no difference.
so i tried different way like installing AE in SSD and Setting disk cache to SSD or some time disk c , change output location to SSD and HDD , bringing media to SSD or HDD(different combination each time)
but still i got no render time difference

so what should i do and in what manner to achieve my goal ?
what is wrong that i am doing ?
Do having a SSD make any Difference ?
what upgrade should i do ?

my config are i5 4460 3.2GHz
2 4096 MB ram DDR3 800 MHz pc3-12800 (total 8GB )
GTX 950 2GB
1 TB HDD WDC wd10ezex 60m2na0
240 GB SSD WD Green

If you want to achieve a better read/write times then put your OS and AE to the SSD. But if you want to achieve faster rendering times then you'll need a CPU with 4 cores and 8 threads. Though, 6/12 or 8/16 cores/threads Ryzen CPUs are better for rendering than 4/4 cores/threads Intel CPUs. 32GB of RAM helps too, while 16GB of RAM would be minimum for a rendering build.

While your SSD has much faster big file read speed (470 MB/s vs HDDs 157 MB/s), it's big file write speed is about the same as with your HDD (145 MB/s for HDD and 153 MB/s for SSD). Though, your SSD does have considerably better small file read/write speeds (19.9 / 41.6 MB/s) compared to your HDD (0.88 / 2.19 MB/s) but sill, your SSD has poor performance when it comes...
Rendering is processor intensive. SSD probably won't increase your render speed by any noticeable amount

It is just a higher speed hard drive, and won't improve a CPU/GPU intensive process like rendering.

Solution

No need to feel disappointed as the SSD is much faster than the normal HDD. The SSD drive has no moving parts and hence is more reliable than the HDD. The SSD is quick especially for programs that access large amounts of data often like your operating system.

okay .thanks to my friend i can still replace my wd SSD with samsung's 850 EVO or PRO . but i am very confuse after seeing those youtube video were they show fast rendering time after installing SSD . soon i will change my ram to 16 gb

plus if i install OS and AE on SSD what will be a good place for disk cache (SSD or HDD)?

Its better that you use SSD for storing all the operational files(like data files).
HDD for storing the large media files(use SSD if the media file is small)
Use SSD for AE disk cache.
