No resolution working correctly

Hey, I have a Philips 19" HDTV hooked up via HDMI to my desktop (graphics card is a Radeon HD 7950), and no matter what resolution I put it on, it always cuts off part of the screen. I've tried every available resolution, but still nothing. What's wrong with it?

Do you mean it shaves off a small sliver on all sides? That's called overscan. You might be able to go into Catalyst or the TV settings and correct it.

If it's cutting off a big portion of one side or another, that's something else.

It's cutting off fairly large portions. I found a custom resolution utility that I'm going to try for the meantime.

What model is your TV? Have you checked what resolution/signal formats it can accept?

I'm not sure about the model. I know HDMI works, because it used to work fine.
