No RGB header on MoBo, but case needs it

I just got the CoolerMaster MasterBox Lite 5 RGB, and my mother board is an asus m5a97 r2.0 le. The case has a 3 to 1 RGB splitter cable but my Mobo does not have the RGB header. Is buying the 40 dollar RGB controller the only option for me? because right now my computer is very loud because my 3 front fans are connected only to the power so I think they're at 100% at all times. Is there absolutely no other option? I really don't want to buy a 40 dollar computer for a 50 dollar case.

The product info for the case says that it comes with both an RGB and 4-pin male to male fan header splitter. Do you not have that fan splitter for motherboard control?

-edit-

Just looked at a review that has pictures of the fan connectors and I see what you mean now. However, I believe you might be mistaken; every picture I can find of the power connectors shows that they are standard 3-pin connectors, which means you should be able to plug them in directly to your motherboard for speed control. You shouldn't use the included power splitter since that connects via 4-pin molex, which is straight 12V and will only run the fans at 100%.

Each fan has two connectors, one is for the led and speed control, and the other one is a 2 pin power only connector.

Hmmmm okay I thought they were 2 pin, I guess i'll try it but they made those wires super short so I'm not sure that's possible. Thanks for your help.
