Question No RGB header

so i want to buy a a pack of 3 rgb coolers but my motherboard has no rgb header but the coolers come with a controller, would i still need a rgb header for that or how does it work?

Without knowing what product you are referring to. All anyone can do is guess. As it says it comes with a controller. I'd assume that controller allows you to control the lighting manually. Although it likely uses physical buttons rather than software control.
