After hours of boot looping and issues I finally got my new gpu working, but of course nothing goes right and I encounter another issue. Right now I have 2 HDDs, 1tb, 500gb. I load into bios when booting where it says no sata info found. I hit q flash and it says no disk drive found. I have my cables connected to the mother board and the psu. I’ve tried three different cables to the psu and same issue, only have two for the motherboard which I guess should be replaced but considering that they were working fine this morning, I doubt it. I’m on a Gigabyte B250 M Gaming 3 motherboard and need help. One of the HDDs does get hot though it’s just not detecting. I have a WD Blue 1 tb that I just can’t tell by. Any help is appreciated!

Upgraded my GPU, and power supply, and added on more ram. I can load into bios for motherboard but there is nothing picking up for either HDDs. Everything is connected with proper cables and I’ve switched data cables going into the psu many times and still the same issue. Neither drives are detected.

I’ve recently upgraded gpu, more ram, new psu. After hours on hours of struggling with gpu issues I got my pc booted and of course we have another damn issue. It loads into bios every time and can’t detect either HDDs. Can’t access windows at all. I have everything connected where it needs to be but they just won’t detect either one. I’ve tried resetting bios, flashing bios. Different cables. I just don’t know what to do. There are some cables I don’t have backups to but I was on my pc this morning with no issues with my old gpu. I even tried putting the old one in and no luck, same issue. So it’s not gpu. I just am so mentally drained of trying to figure all this out and I can’t stand it. Please help someone

Did you replace all your OLD PSU's cables with the new ones?
If not you probably blew the protections on the HDD's.
Which exact HDD's do you have? They may be

yeah, it’s just I’ve had my new psu for a week now and have been using it while waiting for my new gpu which came in today. I put my new gpu in and it was bootlooping, wouldn’t start, tried old gpu, and old psu, moved ram around. Eventually got PC booted but it booted into bios where it says no disk detected. It’s the exact same setup that I had it on this morning(it was working this morning) Maybe the cables I put in and stuff messed it up. One is a western digital blue 1tb and surprisingly one is an old Xbox 360 hard drive that has all the right ports on it.

Out of curiosity... Do you have your SATA ports set as raid instead of ahci. One other thing it could be is change from legacy to UEFI or viseverse
